Skiing

This was my first day of skiing this year, but Oliver's second! Oliver is having a blast on the ski hill and doing great, especially since he just turned 2!
Oliver was very excited to head up skiing!

Meet Penny!

This is a VERY late post, but hope worth the wait. I have been terrible at keeping up with our blog, but hope to get back at it, as I am officially now on Christmas break until Monday. We are very excited to have Seth's Dad, Ned, here for a few days, and my parents will be arriving a week from today for a few days. A fun couple weeks ahead with family.

Now, onto pictures of Penny. Penny is now4 months old, and such a great addition to our family (even Ella thinks so!). Penny is a Springer Spaniel, who we got from a Spaniel breeder in Missoula.

The first pictures are camping on our way home from Missoula. Oliver loves his little buddy Penny.

Ella and Penny. Penny is now bigger than Ella. Ella had 3 months of being the "big kid on the block"...but not any longer.

Halloween 2009

We had a fun Halloween this year walking up and down Main Street to Trick or Treak!
We ended the fun with dinner with Ruby (scooby doo!), Tucker, and our good friends Miguel and Jennie. Oliver was the cutest clown in town!

Oliver had two costumes this year. The cow was the runner-up, so he was a clown!

Estes Park, CO, Moab, Arches Nat'l Park, and Canyonlands Nat't Park, UT

We are home from a long, exciting and very fun vacation. We took off late on Wednesday and camped in WY, before driving Thursday to Boulder, CO. We camped in Boulder that night so we could be at the Men's Warehouse Friday morning to try on the tuxes. After the tux fitting, we headed up to Estes Park, CO for Tyra & Joel's wedding. Estes Park was beautiful with Elk roaming everywhere. We had a wonderful time with lots of family, and the wedding was perfect. Tyra was a gorgeous bride. I am happy Oliver didn't succeeded, as he tried to steel the show at the reception. What a handsome little guy I must say! I'll post more pictures from Estes Park soon. Ella was very good as she spend most of the time in the Minnie Winnie since she wasn't allowed to be in the Condo. After the wedding festivities were over, we drove to Silverthorne, CO to visit Suzie, Jason, and Dylan. We spend part of the day with them, then continued to drive West toward Moab, UT. We camped close to the CO/UT border that night and arrived in Moab the next morning. We spend a few days exploring Moab, the Arches Nat'l Park, and Canyonlands Nat'l Park. Both parks were incredible.

Thanks to Miguel for keeping an eye on our house, the birds, and our cat Blue. Now, house cleaning, fall garden clean up, and getting our Koi and goldfish moved out of our perennial ponds and into their winter semi-indoor pond. Then, back to work, which I am looking forward to! Here are some pictures from the week... more to come!

R.I.P Beloved Madison

January 2007 (Ella was 8 weeks old)

Spring 09

Sept. 2009

On Wednesday, September 2nd, our sweet Madison went to see Lady & Star. Madison was diagnosed with bone cancer a few weeks prior and began getting very sick, very quick. Even after losing Lady and Star years earlier, it doesn't get any easier losing a special family member and the best dog we could ask for. She had a long wonderful life and got to do more than most dogs dream of.....swimming in nearly every lake in Montana, traveling Highway 1 in the Winnebago twice, a week on the Olympic Pennisula, many canoe trips on the Missouri River, and so much more!! Madison will be forever loved and missed dearly!!
